Birth Parent Continuing Education Info Session with Peloton U
March 28, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
| FreeHave you been considering going back to school or continuing your education but aren’t sure where to start or if it’s even possible with your busy schedule? Peloton U’s mission is to increase college graduation rates for working students by blending online education with in-person support. They do that by partnering with three accredited, not for profit universities who offer competency based online degree programs and allow students to work and complete their degrees at their own pace. They offer accelerated programs so a student could complete an Associates degree in 9-12 months or a Bachelor’s in as little as 2- 2.5 years. They provide personal coaches to students to help them stay on track and accomplish their education goals and work space where they can receive in-person support from their advisors on staff. They have year-round start dates and the best part is, this is a much more affordable option for students than other alternatives. Peloton works with government grants, donors and employers to find students the best financial aid possible. No hidden fees or extra books to buy. They are funded by the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation. Oh, and they have an 80% graduation rate!
Come hear more about the program, ask questions specific to your situation and educational goals, and decide if Peloton is a good fit for you. Dinner and drinks provided by Adoption Advocates.
