Hi there! Thanks for taking a look at our profile. We are a warm-hearted, kind and caring couple who is so excited to meet our future little one. As you navigate the decisions ahead we wish you the very best. We know that whatever you choose will be the absolute best decision for you and your child.

Our relationship is built on love and respect for each other. Being positive, spending quality time together as a family, finding humor in the little things, and investing in our community are some of the things that are important to us. We feel very lucky to have the life we do, filled with close supportive friends here in Austin, loving extended families, and excellent neighbors who look out for us.

When I grew up I wanted to be aveterinarian.

I am really good at hula hooping.

I am terrible at quietly watching a movie (because I need to ask what’s happening next!).

My favorite quote is “Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive” -Dalai Lama

I realized I was no longer cool when I did not know what an emoji was.

When I grew up I wanted to be an airline pilot.

I am really good at starting the laundry.

I am terrible at folding the laundry.

My favorite quote is “When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy” -Rumi

I realized I was no longer cool when I tried and failed to dance the Floss.

OUR PET

Neeli is our extremely sweet 4 year-old greyhound who loves all the hugs, gives all the kisses, and wants nothing more than to be by your side. She is a gentle girl who loves kids and makes a beeline to meet any baby or child we see on our walks.

OUR HOME

We live in a newer townhome in a very kid-friendly neighborhood in Central East Austin.  There are several parks, playgrounds, trails, and restaurants just a short walk away. We can even walk to the children’s museum, movie theater and to ice cream! We love meeting up with our neighbors and their kiddos for dinners, walks, music in the park, and other special events.

OUR HOBBIES

Sita enjoys gardening, dancing, baking treats and getting together with her close friends.  Kartik enjoys running, going to his local gym and catching up on current events.  Together we love cooking and hosting meals, travelling locally and abroad, taking walks, reading, and just watching a good show at the end of the day while hanging out in our sweatpants.

PARENTING PHILOSOPHY

We hope to raise a child who is compassionate, kind, confident, and has strength of character. We believe this starts with a loving and safe home with guidance and boundaries. We believe it is important as a parent to model good behavior and provide inspirational role models for children to look up to throughout their childhood. We hope to share how beautiful and amazing our world is with our child and provide opportunities to explore their different interests.

WHAT ADOPTION MEANS TO US

We are excited to grow our family through adoption. We know that parenting is the hardest is job in the world and being an adoptive parent carries added responsibility. With us your child will be fiercely loved and we will work hard to ensure that they are proud of who they are and where they came from. We will be your child’s strongest advocates and supporters.
